Mike + Ally is the only manufacturer of luxury bath accessories in the United States. This provides us control of each step of the design and manufacturing process. We can create samples in-house and match colors for VIP rooms, public spaces and luxury suites.
Case Study 1: Mike + Ally worked with American designer Robert Rizzo of Cobble Court to furnish the newly constructed Hogs Head Golf Club in Waterville, County of Kerry, Ireland. Rizzo was looking for a minimalist bath accessory aesthetic to match the clean lines of the 48 rooms of the Lodge and Private Cottages.
The collections had to be durable to withstand the constant wear and tear of guest usage.
The designer ulimtately selected the Contour Collection - the only bath accessory made entirely from Corian™. Not only was the profile a good fit, but its characteristics were ideal; anti-bacterial, non-staining and durable. The installation took place on schedule and the club was heralded as the Best New Intl Golf Club by Golf Digest.
Case Study 2: Explora Journeys, the luxury cruise line division of Swiss owned MSC cruises, launched their first of four new 450 suite only ships. The cabins are outfitted with walk in closets/balconies and floor to ceiling widows. The designers were looking for a bath accessory brand that would conform with their Glamorous VIP suite décor.
The accessories had to be stately, exude wealth and be durable to the ocean salt and humidity. They selected Statuario Marble, the purest white and finest marble from the Carrara quarry – not far from the Fincantieri shipyard where the ship was built.
